Wij willen The World's End in de Belgische bioscopen!

Hallo iedereen!

Een tijd geleden werd door Universal Pictures bekend gemaakt dat de film The World's End niet in de Belgische en Nederlandse bioscopen zal verschijnen. The World's End is het derde deel in de Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy van regisseur Edgar Wright en acteurs Simon Pegg en Nick Frost. De andere delen zijn Shaun of the Dead en Hot Fuzz.

In Nederland werd er een petitie gestart om de film toch in de Nederlandse bioscopen te krijgen. De petitie leek eerst geen effect te hebben, maar ondertussen heeft Universal Pictures Nederland aangekondigd dat ze de film misschien alsnog zullen uitbrengen.

Daarom besloot ik, als grote fan van de Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy hetzelfde te doen voor België. Ik ben zelf al speciaal naar Frankrijk gegaan om de film toch te kunnen zien, en hij was echt geweldig! Ik vind het schandalig dat er bij ons zo veel slechte films uitkomen, alleen maar omdat die veel geld verdienen, terwijl de echte goede films overgeslagen worden. Hopelijk zal deze petitie een effect hebben!

Iedereen die het met mij eens is: teken deze petitie alsjeblieft, en deel hem zo veel mogelijk!

Il y a un temps que Universal Pictures a annoncé que le film Le Dernier Pub Avant La Fin Du Monde (The World's End) ne va pas être réalisé aux cinémas en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas. Le Dernier Pub Avant La Fin Du Monde est la troisième partie du Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy d'Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg et Nick Frost. Les autres films du trilogie sont Shaun of the Dead et Hot Fuzz.

Aux Pays-Bas, on a commencé une pétition pour obtenir la réalisation du film aux cinémas néerlandais. Au début il semblait que la pétition n'avait aucune effet. Mais il y a  une semaine, Universal Pictures Pays-Bas a annoncé qu'ils vont peut-être encore réaliser le film aux Pays-Bas.

Parce que je suis une grande fan du Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, j'ai décidé de commencer une pétition pour la Belgique. Je suis allé voir le film en France, et il était vraiment génial! Je le trouve scandaleux qu'il y a tellement de films mauvais chez nous, seulement parce qu'ils gagnent beaucoup d'argent, et les vrais bons films sont battus. J'espère que cette pétition aura un impact!

Some time ago, Universal Pictures has anounced it won't release The World's End in Belgium and the Netherlands. The World's End is the third part in the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, made by director Edgar Wright and actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The other parts in the trilogy are Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

People in the Netherlands have started a petition to get The World's End in theaters in the Netherlands. At first it seemed like the petition had no effect, but a week ago Universal Pictures NL has anounced that they will perhaps still release the movie.

As a big fan of the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, I decided to start a petition for Belgium as well. I went all the way to France to see The World's End, and it was a wonderful movie! It's a true disgrace that really bad movies get released because they earn a lot of cash, yet great movies get left out. I really hope this petition will have an impact!
