My name is James Henshaw, I am originally from Wales and I have had the pleasure of helping Marc and Ursula with summer events and barbecues.
From my experience I found them to be fantastic, friendly and family orientated hosts. These are essential combinations for running a fun, communal, sociable water sports club. Everyone can identify with Marc and Ursula in De Haan. With their vast experience and hard working ethic, they are most suitable to fit this role. I feel that tradition is lost in a variety of areas in Belgium and it would be sad to see De Windhaan grass roots disappear. I understand that change is a good thing and that younger generations should have a chance to have greater responsibilities. But i feel that this dramatic outcry of change shows lack of maturity, understanding and above a disregard for community.
I wish Marc and Ursula all the best and the new club is left in their capable hands with the assistance of new vibrant younger members.
