Kortsnuiten Blijven Bestaan

Korte beschrijving,
De liefhebbers van kortsnuiten moeten hun stem laten horen tegen de besluitvorming van de Tweede Kamer om het verhandelen en houden van de kortsnuiten te verbieden.
Tevens vragen de liefhebbers en fokkers aan de Kamer om zich te verdiepen in de Cambridge BOAS test zodat deze deel uit kan maken van het huidige beleid.

Constateren dat:
De FCI-hond geen ongezonde rashond is zoals onterecht wordt voorgesteld en dat de huidige wetgeving gebaseerd is op onvolledige en disproportionele informatie.

En verzoeken:
De minister om de Cambridge BOAS methode, volgens de internationale richtlijnen van FCI, als meetinstrument in te willen stellen om zodoende een duidelijk beeld van de ademhalingsproblematiek bij kortsnuitige honden met FCI stamboom in Nederland te kunnen vast stellen.
Daarbij verzoeken wij de minister mevrouw F. Wiersma en ook staatssecretaris de heer J. Rummenie deze test toe te voegen aan de 6 criteria zodat hierdoor de CFR meetmethode overbodig wordt en verwijderd kan worden uit de lijst met criteria.

The enthusiasts and breeders also ask the House to investigate the Cambridge BOAS test so that it can be incorporated into current policy.

Conclude that:
The FCI dog is not an unhealthy pedigree dog, as is wrongly portrayed, and that current legislation is based on incomplete and disproportionate information.

And request:
The Minister to establish the Cambridge BOAS method, in accordance with international FCI guidelines, as a measurement tool to establish a clear picture of breathing problems in brachycephalic dogs with FCI pedigrees in the Netherlands. We hereby request the Minister, Mrs. F. Wiersma, and also the State Secretary, Mr. J. Rummenie, to add this test to the six criteria so that the CFR measurement method becomes redundant and can be removed from the list of criteria.
