Petition for an Etos Store at the NDSM Wharf in Amsterdam.

The NDSM Wharf has become a vibrant residential and commercial area in Amsterdam-Noord, with a growing number of residents, businesses, and visitors. Despite the rapid growth and increasing demand for essential services, the NDSM Wharf currently lacks a key facility: a pharmacy and drugstore. We, the residents and stakeholders of the NDSM Wharf and nearby neighborhoods, would like to see an Etos store in our area.
Why an Etos at the NDSM Wharf?
1. No drugstore in the immediate vicinity: The nearest drugstores are at Mosplein. An Etos store would provide a convenient, quick and accessible solution for everyone in and around the NDSM Wharf.
2. Neighborhood growth and an increasing number of residents: The NDSM Wharf and surrounding areas are growing rapidly. New residential buildings are being developed, and more people are choosing to live and work here. This growing population creates a high demand for daily essentials, personal care products, and health supplies that a drugstore like Etos can provide.
3. Wide selection and quality: Etos is known for its friendly service, wide range of products, and quality brands in personal care. For many residents, having more choices is important, and an Etos would be a valuable addition to the existing offerings.
4. Enhancing the livability of NDSM: An Etos store would further increase the attractiveness and livability of the neighborhood. It would provide residents, business owners, and visitors with a central location for health and personal care products, contributing to a livelier and more complete community hub.
Our Request
We ask Etos Nederland and the Municipality of Amsterdam to invest in the future of the NDSM Wharf by opening an Etos store in our neighborhood. With your support, we can further develop the NDSM Wharf into a well-rounded community where essential services are close and accessible.
