Sorry that I don't understand Dutch well, but I think I grasped the core: a 26 years old Russian gay man who is since 2,5 years married to a Dutchman, should be deported back to Russia because his spouse - having only a disability pension - is too poor to be the "sponsor" as requested by Dutch Immigration Law. I always thought German Immigration Regulations were severe, and admired Holland as open and friendly, but not even Germany would require under these circumstances from the pair to live in Russia or separated. We KNOW that Russia is aggressively homophob - it is an element of Putin's policy. As a matter of fact, being a gay Russian should become a valid reason for asylum. Sure, we do not know everything about this case, but it is hardly conceivable, that the two men have failed their civil obligations so bad as to deserve a treatment that is worse than a punishment. Please reconsider and give them a chance to live in peace.
