Behoud 1 MD-11 voor de Nederlandse Luchtvaarthistorie !!!!

As I worked at airport Zurich, I enjoyed the nicest time with 19 MD-11s, the largest fleets until Swissair lost 1 MD-11 in Halifax. After the grounding of swissair was not good time, MD-11 wasn't favorite for other airliners. MD-11 is and was the nicest and comfortably planes in Pax-version.

Please save one MD-11 for remember in history of passenger planes.
We will very happy to have it!!

I like KLM and fly with KLM every time its possible.
I flew 3 times aboard MD-11s 1 time Delta 2 times KLM and i have to say i will prefer this magnificent aircraft over the crappy A330 a 100 times. Please save one!

Gelukkig er al eens mee gevlogen prachtig toestel. Het zou echt zonde zijn moesten al de MD-11 begraven worden in de woestijn.

Ik heb iets met dit type vliegtuig. Mijn vader heeft 15 jaar als 1ste officier en captain DC-10 gevlogen bij de KLM. Tussen 1996 en 2002 en tussen 2008 en 2012 heeft mijn broer respectievelijk als1ste officier en als captain op de MD-11 gevlogen, ook bij de KLM. Zelf ben ik regelmatig mee geweest, met zowel de DC-10 als de MD-11.

I am a veteran of the wonderful passenger MD-11 aircraft , and with it I've flown a lot, especially those of KLM, and I've flown all the 10 MD-11  PH- KCA to KCK , and in my travels I have always taken the MD11 to reach my usual destinations even when klm on some routes had them replaced with the B777 and then while flying with the MD-11 I had to get to another destination and then with another airline to get to the final destination .... The decision to replace the KLM MD-11 just do not understand , it is not true that it is an old plane , to date both as performances and MD11 flight technique is superior to any other aircraft, especially the memory KLM753/KLM754 Amsterdam Quito flights via Bonaire and Guayaquil were the most beautiful and exciting I've ever done .... Quito many times it happened during the landing of doing to go-around .... KLM to date and the only one with the MD-11 operating as passenger flights .... the new boeing 777 are by no means a slow and uncomfortable ...... ... And the decision to replace the MD- 11 is the most wrong decision that management could do KLM ! !

Dear Sirs, I wasn't able to understand all statements on this page as English only speaker but I just want to add my voice for MD11 preservation at some public display. Personally I had just one flight in my life time with this airplane but it really connects to my very best memories. It would be highly valuable and relatively easy to preserve one of the last MD11PAX examples which is in excellent condition even for retirement time. Much harder to try to do the recovery or replication of this unique airplane from parts years later, so please do it now for generations to come! Sincerely, Dmitry

Het fijnste vliegtuig waar ik vaak mee gevlogen heb lekker rustig in de cabine , grote ramen , jammer dat deze fantastische MD 11 toestellen uitgefaseerd worden door de KLM

Het zou toch geweldig zijn als de MD 11 naar het Aviodrome zou kunnen komen

De MD-11 MOET BLIJVEN!!!!!!!!

Ik vlieg hem nu al enige jaren op de computer met Flight Simulator X. Het is een prachtig toestel dat zeker behouden moet blijven.
Ik hoop dat ook een KLM MD11 een mooie plaats kan krijgen bij het AVIODROME.

If Lufthansa can have Junkers JU 57 in her fleet for historical flights, why KLM cannot save one MD-11 as only flying with body tri jet?

to use old fashion liveries.
E.g. KLM MD 11 painted in old fashion livery like KLM DC 10 and flying to Sint Maarten on special scheduled flights.
I can bet they can charge more for those tickets to cover all necessary maintenance and increased fuel consumption costs.

De md-11 is zelf een buitengewoon mooi toestel, een vooral in de schitterende KLM kleuren zou het zonde zijn op dit stuk mooie stukje kunst kapot te maken en in een woestijn te zetten. SAVE THE MD-11!

Dit is niet alleen historie uit de Nederlandse luchtvaart boeken, Maar van de hele wereld, en het bestaan van de (PAX) MD-11. Laten wij er een levend houden, zodat wij niet alleen deze kist op foto's kunnen bewonderen. Maar ook in levende lijven :)

The MD11 (and DC10 before) are synonymous with KLM. It would be a fitting tribute.

Md11 moet blijven!

Ik vind het goed dat deze petitie is gestart, want de md-11 is een deel van de KLM netals de 747 die bij Aviodrome staat. Het heeft de KLM jarenlang gediend. Daarom vind ik dus dat er één gespaard moet worden. Daarnaast ben ik zelf een liefhebber van de md-11 en wil het liever niet zien verdwijnen uit de KLM vloot.

Een hele goede actie om de MD-11 te behouden. Ik heb er zelf bijna 1600 uur op gevlogen nadat ik van de 738 kwam! Goede actie! Lang leve de MD-11

De MD 11 moet net als de 747 een ereplaats krijgen op het Aviodrome. Probeer Dirk Lips zover te krijgen dat hij een rondje met de pet maakt om dit te realiseren. Good luck!
