From: Audi Q4 drivers awaiting their long overdue software update

Dear sir, madam,
Through this petition we would like to inform you that we, Audi Q4 drivers of the first hour, are pretty upset with the pace in which the new software is released. This update was already promised Q4, 2021 and was delayed several times, and is now supposed to become available Q4, 2022, although no communications to customers (and we are also under the impression little is communicated to dealers) up to date.
Although a new software version is already available, it is not fit for purpose for our “old” hardware. Through this writing, we demand that either:
1. The new software is made available in 2022 still; or
2. Audi AG take responsibility and upgrade our hardware free of charge so the software available can be installed in our vehicles.
In addition, we demand that the “Audi Connect” subscription fee is extended and the 3 year period that was paid for in the price of the option at purchase starts when the software update is installed in our vehicles, as the “connect” possibilities are currently extremely limited.
