Animals at Artis Zoo live in inadequate enclosures that do not meet their natural needs. Despite recent expansions, these enclosures still fail to provide adequate space or respect the dignity of the animals, leading to continued exploitation for entertainment purposes.
We call on Artis Zoo to improve the living conditions for all animals, ensuring they are given proper space and care. We urge the zoo to transition towards ethical conservation practices, prioritizing animal welfare and ending exploitation for entertainment.
