U Twente suspends lectures & exams due to the corona virus (RIVM)
-The coronavirus has been detected in 2 places in the Netherlands.
-All confirmed infected cases are linked to northern Italy.
-Interactief (student organization of TCS) organized a ski trip to northern Italy during the spring break.
-Coronavirus has a 14-day incubation period and it spreads much faster than normal influenza (even faster than SARS) according to WHO.
-Coronavirus has a severe rate of 20%, once it breaks out in Enschede, the local medical system will collapse due to a large number of severe patients and the severe rate could turn into the death rate.
-A severe infection could cause irreversible damage to the patient's lung.
-Sign this petition to show the RIVM that we want to be free from school to prevent further spread.
